Built the way I build for clients. Live, and yours to click around.
Anyone can show a screenshot. These two are running right now, on plain, standard technology, on ordinary hosting, with no dependency on anybody's platform. One is a working demo of a client system. The other is a product Cage Free Code owns and runs.
A complete membership business in one system.
This is the platform built for the coaching membership in the case study, running as a demo instance on its own server with its own database.
Inside it: a member dashboard, coaching and session booking, live meetings with archives, private messaging, courses and education tracks, podcasts and audiobooks, a members map, check-ins, notifications, and the admin back office that runs all of it.
Every record is generated. There are no real people, no real payments, and nothing you do inside it reaches anybody — so explore freely.
- Replaced

- Built on

The Vote Files — votefiles.com
The complete voting record of every US member of Congress since 1789, presented beautifully. Every politician has a file; visitors pull it.
The Vote Files is a product Cage Free Code owns and runs. It exists for a voter checking whether their senator actually voted for the bill everyone's arguing about, for a journalist pulling receipts on deadline, for a teacher projecting a file in a civics class. It shows votes and never takes sides.
Every statistic on it is derived from official government records, and every measure links to its official source. It's the same approach as client work — plain technology, real data, design as the product — carried to a scale of hundreds of thousands of records.
- Coverage
- Every roll-call vote in the House and Senate since 1789
- Sources
- Official archives only — Congress.gov, the House Clerk, Senate.gov, GovInfo, with the Voteview historical record
- Built on
- Vanilla PHP, CSS and JavaScript. No dependencies.

The same rules, every time.
Standard technology
PHP, MySQL, plain CSS and JavaScript. Nothing exotic, nothing that only one person on earth understands. Any competent developer can open either codebase and get to work.
Ordinary hosting
Both run on regular shared hosting in the owner's own name. No proprietary platform underneath, no vendor who can raise the price or change the terms.
Real data, real scale
The demo is a genuine client system with generated records. The Vote Files carries the entire congressional record. Neither is a mock-up.
