Migration & Launch

The part everyone underestimates. A live business with paying members has to move from six systems to one without a single person noticing anything except that things got better. Data cleanup, import, redirects, email setup, parallel running and training — included in every build.

Why this is the hard part

Building is the easy bit. Moving is where things go wrong.

Fifteen years of contacts with three spellings of the same email. Members mid-way through a payment plan. Course progress nobody wants to lose. Search rankings on URLs that are about to change. Email that has to keep arriving in the inbox, not the spam folder.

None of that is a coding problem. It's an implementation problem, and it's the reason people who "just build it with AI" end up with a beautiful system and a business that can't move into it.

What's included

Every step between "built" and "running your business."

/01

Data export & cleanup

Everything pulled from every current tool, de-duplicated, reconciled and repaired. The new system starts honest.

/02

Import & verification

Contacts, members, purchases, subscriptions, course progress, content — imported, then checked record by record against the source.

/03

Redirects & search

Every old URL mapped to its new home so links, bookmarks and search rankings survive the move.

/04

Email & deliverability

Sending domains authenticated, reputation protected, templates rebuilt. Your email keeps landing where it should.

/05

Parallel running

Old and new side by side for an agreed period. Nothing is switched off until you've confirmed nothing is missing.

/06

Training & handover

Your team trained on the admin tools, the runbook delivered, the walkthrough recorded. Then the old subscriptions get cancelled — in the right order.

The promise

Nothing goes dark.

Members keep logging in. Payments keep collecting. Emails keep sending. The only thing anyone notices is that the new system does what the old ones wouldn't.

In the case study, a membership with 400+ active members moved off six subscriptions in eleven weeks, including the parallel-running period — with every feature request left open since 2024 shipped in six of those weeks. The full breakdown →
